You can use tables in Dreamweaver to get all of your words and pictures exactly where you want them.
When you use tables for layout, each picture or block of text goes into a table cell. Dreamweaver includes a tutorial that will help you understand table based layout.
To run the tutorial, follow these setps:
1) In Dreamweaver, click the Help menu
2) Select Tutorials
3) On the left side of the screen click Using Tables to Design a Page Layout
4) Click Create and Modify a Table in Standard View
(Skip the step labelled "Before You Begin")
5) Do the tutorial steps. Stop at the end of the step labelled Add Color to a Table.
6) Play around with adding text and pictures into the table cells
7) If you have time you may continue the tutorial and learn about Layout View.
Layout view is more complicated than standard view but gives you more precise control.
